Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I convert?
You can drop PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG files and convert them to PNG, JPG or WebP. GIFs are converted from their first frame, and SVGs are rasterised at their natural size.
How is this different from the single-purpose converters?
This is the universal version. Instead of one fixed pair like PNG to JPG, you choose any supported input and any of the three output formats, all in one place. The dedicated converters still exist if you prefer them.
Can I convert many files at once?

Which output format should I pick?
PNG is lossless and keeps transparency. JPG is smallest for photographs but flattens transparency onto white. WebP usually gives the best size-to-quality balance and supports transparency.
