Frequently asked questions
How to add a watermark to a video online without uploading?
Our tool processes the entire video watermarking locally inside your web browser. By using FFmpeg.wasm, it overlays your logo or text directly on your device so your raw video is never sent to a server.
Can I use both text and image watermarks?
You can choose either a custom text watermark (with adjustable size, color, and opacity) or upload a PNG/JPG image logo to overlay on the video.
Where will the watermark be positioned?
You can position the watermark in any of the four corners (Top-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right) or center it directly on the video frame.
Will watermarking re-encode my video?
Yes. To burn a watermark overlay onto the video stream, the video frames must be re-encoded. The audio stream is copied directly without re-encoding to preserve quality and speed up the process.
Is there a limit on video file size?
Since the rendering happens entirely in browser memory, large video files (such as 4K videos or files over 500MB) can be slow to process or crash the browser tab. We recommend using shorter or smaller clips for the best performance.
